My 5 Best Work From School📖📝

Hey Guys 🤙

Today I’m going to be showing you 5 of my best work from trimester. Enjoy! 😁

#1 Who Am I?

Who Am I was a Research Skills project where everyone had to find out the meaning of their name, family heritage, ethnic group, and more relative related things. We had to gather all the information and put it into a presentation to present to the class. Here is my presentation I created, Who Am I

#2 Banzai Presentation

Banzai Presentation was a project for Algebra. We were split up into groups of three and we had to make a presentation to introduce Banzai to the 7th graders. Banzai is a financial literacy website that teaches kids how to control and be prepared for handling money in the future. The website involves a game, real-life situations, vocabulary, pre-test, and post-test. Banzai Presentation

#4 Social Studies Research Assignment

Our social studies assignment was to research any place we want and we had to find facts about the place. (imports/exports, absolute location, human/physical characteristics, region, etc.) I did my project on Cambridge, Massachusetts.

#5 Salem Witch Trials (Act It Out)

The Salem Witch Trials was a social studies assignment where we got to chose our own groups and make a play, song, or poem about the Salem Witch Trials. My group did a play. Not only was I proud of this assignment but it was one of the more fun things we did so far this year.

My Best Work For STEM

If you didn’t know S.T.E.M means science, technology, engineering, and math. In this class, we usually do team projects. For S.T.E.M my best work was our Slideshow – Bird Checklist Presentation. Before we did this project we went on a field trip to Hawaii Botanical Garden. On the field trip, we looked at birds and how different each one is. When we got back Mrs. Okamura (Our S.T.E.M teacher) paired us up into groups and told us what bird we will be researching. My partner was Natalie (Go check out her blog!) and the bird we got was the Red-Vented Bulbul.

My Best Work in Science

Science is not my favorite subject but it can be fun sometimes. My best work we did in the class was a Learning Showcase Presentation. Tomorrow we are going to have a Learning Showcase for my school. It is when all the parents can come to the school and see the progress we have been making. For science, we are presenting about our schools garden. It is supposed to be a brief presentation to show the parents what we do in the garden. For this project, I worked with Sarah, Taylor, and Ridge (go check out their blogs!!!)

My Best Work For Drama

I am going to talk about my best work from drama class. I actually have two I would like to talk about. The first one was a project from last year. We had to pick a play that was very popular and find facts about it. It was pretty easy for all of us. Our play was Wicked. The story of Glinda and Elphaba. I was working with Ally, Chad, Austin (He doesn’t go to our school anymore), Raya, and Reyn (He doesn’t go to our school anymore). (Go check out their blogs!)

My Second best work I did was a project where we had to write about an object. The assignment was to find an object and we had to talk about that object for 2 minutes. We could say anything we wanted about the object, but it had to meet the requirement of 2 minutes. I wrote about the first baseball I ever received. You’ll see why if you read my speech.

My Best Work For MATH

MATH is my favorite subject ever!! It is so much fun and the teacher is so cool. My best work for math was A Math Magazine we needed to create. If you didn’t know scope makes these math magazines each month and gives them to teachers that order them. Every month my class does a math magainze. For this assignment, we had to make our own with 9 stories and 24 problems. I worked with Aaron, Ridge, and Mina (Go check out their blogs!)

Here is what it turned out to be… (I’m sorry if you can’t see the words)

To make this article we used Jilister. A free magazine maker that is really easy to use. You just make an account and you can create the magazine with picture and everything. I really hope you enjoyed this post! BAAIIIIII!!!!!!

My Best Work For Language Arts

Hey Guys,

I’m going to be talking about my best work for Language Arts. Language arts is basically reading and writing. I admit I’m not the best on this subject but I always try my best. I believe my best work was a Scope Alcatraz Contest Essay. For this assignment, we had to read an article about Alcatraz from a scope magainze Then we had to write an essay about whether or not we think that Frank Moris and the Anglin Brothers escaped. (They are the ones who broke out of Alcatraz)

The article was basically about these three guys that escaped Alcatraz. Alcatraz was a prison designed to hold the most dangerous criminals in the world. It was located off the coast of San Fransisco. The men’s names were Frank Morris, John Anglin, and Clarence Anglin. They had this daring escape all planned out on the night of June 11,1962. Everyone knows they made it out of the building but after that, they had no idea where they went. They seemed to have disappeared into the darkness. Let me remind you Alcatraz was on its own island meaning they would have to swim or build a raft to get away. That’s exactly what they did, they build a raft made out of raincoats to sail away. After making it out of the water they disappeared, no one knows if they died or made it out alive.

My Best Work in Social Studies

Hey Guys,

Today I’m gonna talk about my best work in Social Studies. I would say this is my best work because it showed how creative I could be. In class, we watched the movie Picture Bride. Our assignment was to pick a scene that could have changed the whole story if it went differently. Then we had to pick up the story from where ever that spot was and finish the story in a different way. WARNINGIf you have not seen the movie I will be talking about what the movie was about so MAJOR SPOILER ALERT!

The movie Picture Bride is basically about this girl named Riyo who sails to Japan as a picture bride because no one in Japan would marry her. Everyone thinks she killed her parents by giving them tuberculosis. On her way to Hawaii, she’s hoping to meet this handsome young man but that’s not what she finds. Instead what awaits her is a 43-year-old man named Mastuji. There was a huge mistake because Mastuji ended up sending a picture of himself when he was very young. She ends up living with him for a while and she hates it. Her goal is to work on the plantation as hard as she can so she will get money to go back to Japan. Throughout the movie, she meets a young woman named Kana, who ends up dying trying to save her baby from a fire. Riyo ends up falling in love with Mastuji and doesn’t go back to Japan. there is a part of the movie where Kana’s spirit comes to talk to Riyo when she is about to run away. Kana tells Riyo there is nothing left for her in Japan and there is no reason she should go back. This changes Riyo’s mind and she ends up going back to Mastuji and falls for him.

That is what happened in the story, but here is the Document to my alternant ending of the story. I really liked doing this assignment because it was really fun to be creative and finish the story.

My Personification Story

Hey Guys,

Today I’m gonna share with you My Personification Story! Your job is to guess what I am and tell me in the comments. Good Luck! 🙂

Every day I watch all of the students working in LA class. Sometimes I feel bad for them because I make them cold. I’m really good at keeping the room cold when kids are hot though. To be honest they are pretty sweaty when they come back from recess.

I live high above everyone’s heads close to the corner of the room. My neighbors are Makayla and Makenzie.  Makayla and Makenzie are twins but they are always telling me I’m not good enough. They don’t like me because Wendy doesn’t like me. Wendy is the meanest to me because whenever I try to speak to him and he always pretends like I’m not there. I always feel left out. 🙁

My best friends are Wally the white board and Fancy the flag. They are the only ones who makes me feel like I belong. At night Wally, Fancy, and I talk about what we are afraid of and our dreams. I am most afraid of breaking down because I’m scared it will hurt me in some way. My dream is to make the room so cold one day that it will snow and all the middle schoolers could play.

What do you think I am?
