Leaving HMS 💜🐬📚

Hey Guys,

Today I’m going to be talking about a sort of sad topic. In about a month I am going to be graduating from the school I’ve been going to for 11 years. To me it’s truly insane because it feels like it all went by in just a second. Through my years at HMS I have meet so many amazing people and learned so many new things. I am so thankful to be apart of the HMS Ohana and I am truly upset at the idea of leaving.

Photo Taken By ME

I am absolutely going to miss HMS and every amazing person in it. I have made friendships that I hope will last a lifetime and lessons that will surely help me in life. As scary as graduating is I believe I am ready for the adventure that is high school. It’s going to be a lot to take in but I’m sure I can handle it.

I know for a fact that once graduation day hits, I won’t be able to stop crying for weeks. For me I think the hardest part is going to be leaving everyone 😭. It’s going to be incredibly hard. I’m just happy that I had such an amazing school to prepare me for everything.

My Terrible Artwork 🎨

Hello People,

I am going to be showing you all of my terrible art I made over the past few years. YAY…

I am obsessed with the TV show AHS (American Horror Story) and this is a drawing of the 3 first seasons in the show. When making this I was just trying to think of all the iconic moments and characters. I am really proud if it actually, it’s not the worst thing that I ever made. The show is very unique and I definitely recommend it to people who can handle horror.

I’m sure almost everyone knows the movie The Greatest Showman. During the summer I was obsessed with this movie and all of the songs in it. On a random day during summer school art I decided to draw this really bad sketch. I don’t know if you can see because the picture quality is terrible but the word bubbles have all the lyrics to the songs in the movie. 👍

Another show I am obsessed with is Riverdale. I was really bored at home one day and I was watching Riverdale. I was then inspired and I thought it would be cool if I tried to draw the symbols to each “gang” in the show. In the end I did a mediocre job. I spent about an hour on it. 👌

This is the only art work I am proud of. For this, we had an assignment in art class to make a year book cover design. I made this tree with the different seasons. Even though it didn’t win I think it’s better than most things I’ve made. It is currently hanging up in my room 😂.

Art isn’t my favorite class but I enjoy it a lot. I wouldn’t say I am an artist at all because all my things I create suck but that’s okay 👌. This was a very short post and I don’t have anything else to say…SO

My 3 Favorite Places To Visit ✈️☁️

Hello People,

If you couldn’t tell by the title I’m going to be writing about my favorite places to visit in the world. 🌍

1. New York

I absolutely love New York! I don’t even know how to explain it. It just puts off this amazing vibe that I just can’t get enough of. All the people and the big billboards that make it all feel so illuminating. One day when I’m old enough to live on my own I want to live in New York for a few years. I just feel like it would be a great place to live with so many opportunities.

2. California

California is so amazing for a lot of different reasons. For one, it’s the home of Disneyland which is always an amazing place to be. I am always so jealous of people who live in California because they could just drive to Disneyland whenever they want to. Another reason is because California is where most of the celebrities live. If you live in California it is a high chance that you could run into a celebrity just walking on the streets. Speaking of celebrities, California is widely known for Hollywood. I have always been a fan of Hollywood, but not being an actor myself. I have always loved the behind the scenes work more than anything else because I find it so interesting how they make everything work.

3. Waikiki

If you didn’t already know, I live in Hawaii and Waikiki is a small part of the island that is mainly for tourist. There you can find a lot of beaches, hotels, and stores. It is one of my favorite places on the island because when you are there it feels like paradise. Even if you live in Hawaii, Waikiki makes you feel like you’re on vacation. There is no other place on the island that gives off more of a Hawaiian vibe and that is why I love it so much.

Hey guys,

Let’s get right to it, I am in 8th grade and I just finished my looooooooonnnnnnnggggggg process of finding a high school to go to. I absolutely hated it!!! I don’t think I know a single person who likes the process of applying to a new school. There is so much you have to do and it’s exhausting. Here are all the steps that come with applying to a new private school…

  1. Choose the schools to apply to
  2. Apply to the schools
  3. Take the SSAT test (WHICH IS 3 AND A HALF HOURS)
  4. Attend the Open Houses
  5. Take the test for the schools
  6. Get interviewed
  7. Send in your latest grades
  8. Wait until you get replies
  9. Choose a school you got into (If you had options)
  10. Do everything required to get into the school (take TB test, send in report cards, note saying you graduated the previous grade, etc)
  11. Spend a day with your graduating class at that chosen school

It doesn’t seem like much, but this whole process takes about a year and maybe more… You have no idea how terrifying the entire process is. BUT, in the end when you get your results, it is a BIG relief because it’s all over. Yes the process is stressful but it’s worth it in the end because you get to go to a good school  and get a good education.

  1. STUDY for the tests
  2. Always be on your best behavior because they are always examining you from the moment they see you
  3. Be friendly
  4. Don’t show your scared
  6. Do good in school to impress them
  7. Have patience because the tests and interviews can be long
  8. Make sure to answer the interviewers with clear and understandable answers

My 3 Favorite Disney Movies 🖤❤️

Hey Guys!

I am going to be talking about my 3 favorite Disney movies! I’m so excited so let’s get right to it…

1. Tangled

Bing Free To Share And Use

My all time favorite Disney movie is Tangled! I absolutely love this movie and I can’t take my eyes off the screen if it’s playing. I just love everything about the movie. The story, the characters, the action, the humor, all of it.

The story is about a girl named Rapunzel who was kidnapped as a child and locked away in a tower far from her home. The reason she was taken is because her 70 feet long hair has magic powers that can restore anyones youth. One day, on her 18th birthday she decides that she wants to see the floating lights that always appear on her birthday. Her wishes soon become a reality when she meets Flynn Ryder, a robber, who promises her to take her to see the lights. Little do they know that both of their lives are about to change as they continue on their journey to see the lights.

2. The Incredibles

Bing Free To Share And Use

This is definitely one of the best Disney movies out there. It’s such a fantastic movie that really gets you pulled in with all the action it has.

The story is about a family of superheroes that are forced to assume normal human lives as Bob, Helen Parr, Violet, Dash, and Jack Jack.  They live this way because super-powered activities have been banned by the government. While Mr. Incredible (Bob) loves his wife and kids, he longs to return to a life of adventure, and he gets a chance when summoned to an island to battle an out-of-control robot. Soon, he is in trouble, and it’s up to his family to use their powers and save him.

3. Chicken Little

Bing Free To Share And Use

(Small note, I think this was the first Disney movie I ever watched) To this day it is still one of my favorite movies. The reason is because it is so different than what Walt Disney usually creates. The story and the entire movie is so much more action packed than normal Disney movies.

The story is about young Chicken Little. He throws his small town into panic by claiming the sky is falling. Unable to find the piece of “sky” that hit him, he becomes the town laughing stock. A year later, outcast Chicken Little tries to redeem himself by joining the baseball team, helping to win a crucial game. Later that night he is hit on the head again and discovers that the “falling sky” is actually from a UFO. Little must convince the skeptical town that an alien invasion is about to happen.

5 Helpful Tips To Relax/Calm Down 😴

Hey Guys,

Have you ever been so stressed and so anxious that you can’t seem to calm down? Your palms start to sweat and your brain starts to hurt. We’ve all been there, it sticks. Here are some helpful tips that will 100% help you relax.

Bing Free To Use Images

The most important thing about relaxing is to breathe. When people are anxious they tend to take quick, shallow breaths. When stressed you should take long, deep calming breaths and try to focus on breathing In and Out.

2. Erase The Irrational Thoughts

Bing Free To Use Images

Part of being anxious or angry is having irrational thoughts that don’t necessarily make sense. These thoughts are often the “worse-case scenario.” You might find yourself caught in the “what if”, which can cause you to stress over a lot of things in your life.

When in this situation, ask yourself the following questions…

  • Is this likely to happen?
  • Is this a rational thought?
  • Has this ever happened to me before?
  • What’s the worst that can happen? Can I handle that?

3. Listen To Music

Bing Free To Use Images

This is the tip that helps me, personally, the most. I don’t know what it is about music, but it always seems to make me forget about my problems or stress. The next time you feel anxious, just grab a pair of earbuds and put on your favorite song. TRUST ME, it helps with calming yourself soooooooooooooooooooooooo much. The music just blocks out the rest of the world and it’s just you and your songs. In my opinion there is no better feeling.

4. Write It Down

Bing Free To Use Images

Writing down your emotions tends to release a lot of negative energy. Just grab a journal and write out all of your thoughts. Don’t worry about complete sentences or punctuation — just write. The more you express with words the more relaxed you’ll feel when you’re down.

5. Relax The Body

Another easy way to relax, is to relax your body. A pillow and a fluffy blanket always helps a stressful mind. Let your body rest and slowly drift off into space.By doing this you help calm the tension you have and it releases a lot of anger.

4 Reccomended Movies📽🎞

Hey Guys,

In this post I am going to be talking about 4 of my favorite movies that I think you guys should watch

1. The Fault In Our Stars

Bing Free To Use Images

This is one of my favorite movies because I absolutely love the story behind it. It is a Romance/Drama/Comedy film that never fails to impress. The relationship between the two characters is what makes the whole movie completely adorable.

The story is about a 16 year old girl names Hazel who is battling cancer and needs to bring an oxygen tank everywhere she goes. Hazel has a really strong depression about her cancer so her parents find her a support group to express her emotions. There she meets Augustus (A cancer survivor who has a prosthetic leg).

Both of their favorite authors, Peter Van Houten, the reclusive author of An Imperial Affliction. Lives in Amsterdam and both Hazel and Augustus get invited by Van to come to Amsterdam to meet him. Hazel’s mother accompanies them on their adventure. But their meeting does not go as the Americans had expected. Still, the trip proves to be a a turning point in the young lovers’ relationship in many ways. ❤️

Actors – Shailene Woodley, Ansel Elgort, Nat Wolff, Laura Dern, and Willem Dafoe

2. Just Go With It

Bing Free To Use Images

This movie is an Adam Sandler movie and it is a really funny yet lovable movie. It is a Comedy/Romance movie that is always really fun to watch.

The movie is about a plastic surgeon, Danny, romancing a much younger schoolteacher, Palmer. He then enlists his loyal assistant to pretend to be his soon to be ex-wife, in order to cover up a careless lie. When more lies backfire, the assistant’s kids become involved, and everyone heads off for a weekend in Hawaii that will change all their lives.

Actors – Adam Sandler, Jennifer Aniston, Brooklyn Decker, Bailee Madison, and Griffin Gluck

3. 50 First Dates

Bing Free To Use Images

I really really really like this movie because it has one of the cutest relationship stories ever. This movie is another Comedy/Romance movie.

Yes, this is another Adam Sandler movie that makes you smile while watching it.

The movie is about a man names Henry that sets his heart on romancing Lucy, a young girl he meets at a diner. They talk for a long time and start to like each other. The one and only problem is She was in a tragic accident that gave her short-term memory loss; she can’t remember anything that happened the day before. So every morning, Henry has to woo her again to make her fall for him. Her friends and family are very protective, and Henry must convince them that he’s in it for love. 😭

Actors – Adam Sandler, Drew Barrymore, Lusia Strus, and Rob Schneider

4. Searching

Bing Free To Use Images

When I first heard of this movie I didn’t think I would be interested in seeing it but it turns out I really liked it. It was a really thrilling movie that kept me at the edge of my seat. This movie is a Mystery/Drama/Psychological Thriller.

This movie is about a father, David Kim. He becomes desperate when his 16-year-old daughter Margot disappears and an immediate police investigation leads nowhere. He decides to search the one place that no one else has — Margot’s laptop. Hoping to trace her digital footprints, David looks at her social media and contacts all of Margot’s friends. What he finds out about the investigation is SHOCKING.

Actors – John Cho, Debra Messing, Sara Sohn, and Joseph Lee

The 5 Struggles Of Having Younger Sibling 👭👬👫🙄

Hey Guys!

Today I am going to be talk about younger siblings and the pain all of us go though. If you yourself have younger siblings you can 100% relate to this post. I myself am the oldest sibling and I have 2 younger sisters that I love and hate. Here are some struggles most people have when they have younger siblings.

  1. They cry all the time

If you have a younger sibling you know this struggle. When the little one doesn’t get what they want or enough attention they cry and cry and cry. It can get extremely irritating to the point where you want to rip off your ears.

2. They get everything they want

It’s so unfair that the smallest child always get everything they want because they are the “cute” one. I swear they are favored like crazy and everything is just handed to them. 🙄

I swear this is probably the most irritating thing a younger sibling could do. I could be minding my own business and all of a sudden my parents start yelling at me because my sister claimed that I did something wrong. All younger siblings know how to do is paddle and it is soooooooooooooooooooo annoying. Half of the time I didn’t do anything remotely related to the situation I am accused of.

4. Having to share

This is going to sound very selfish but as an older sibling I hate sharing. As the older sibling you have to share EVERYTHING with the younger sibling. Cloths, Food, Brushes, Toys, literally anything that the little sibling wants to touch/play with.

5. Stealing Your Things

Referring back to #4 about not loving to share things. ONE of the main reasons I don’t like to share with my younger siblings is because if they borrow something I never get it back. I find it somewhere on the ground in my house. Sometimes I won’t even get my stuff back and I have to ask them where they out it and because they are only 6 and 3 they have no idea where it is. That leaves me to go on a massive search though the house to try and find the item they borrowed AND lost.
